Summary: The episode starts with LB and CN trying to stop a run away bus, which they do by working together. While they help passengers off the bus, CN asks LB out on a date. They only get to see each other when they're saving Paris, so a date would let them get to know each other better. At first, LB declines, saying she has plans, but CN insists. LB says "we'll see," then takes off. Meanwhile, CN prepares for his date with LB.
Andre, the guy who serves ice cream, as well as many others, believe that his ice cream is magic; the magic represents a persons features (hair, eyes, etc.) and that his ice cream has the power to bring lovers together. That night, Marinette goes out with her friends and sees a boy who is dressed like Adrien. The boy turns out to have dark hair and eyes, and Marinette tells Andre that his ice cream isn't magical and walks off. She's sad because her crush, Adrien, never showed up.
Hawkmoth discovers Andre and Akumatizes him. CN is disappointed (and a little angry) that LB never showed up, so he goes to see Marinette (the balcony scene) and they talk about how both their hearts got broken; Marinette's because Adrien didn't show up for ice cream, and CN because LB didn't show for their date. CN tries to cheer them both up by taking Marinette to see the surprise he made for LB and that's when the villain shows up.
CN takes Marinette home, then leaves to go the fight the villain. Marinette transforms and goes to fight with him. She realizes that the villain is only attacking people who aren't in love, so she convinces CN to pretend they're in love with each other so they can get close to the villain and defeat him. Even though CN is initially upset with her for not showing up, he still agrees with her plan and the two successfully defeat the villain.
Andre returns to normal and LB and CN return to the rooftop where CN had planned to take LB on their date. The two share a special moment and LB tells him that there's this boy (she's referring to Adrien), but when CN asks who he is, LB refuses to tell him. She tries to explain that they're superheroes so they can't know about each other and all, and he says he understands and that she's his best friend too and kisses her cheek. He tells her she can keep the rose and then leaves.
Later, Adrien has decided not to give up hope that LB will eventually fall in love with him. The next day, he goes out for ice cream. Marinette apologizes to Andre and also goes out for ice cream.
